Weight: 137
I'd like to say I weighed in less today. I'd like to say I worked out an extra hour yesterday, but I didn't. I had a minor bump in my will power.
I was hoping to have my 'off' day on Saturday & let it be okay if I slip a little bit. Unlike last week, where I went out & had a few burgers, I thought I might have one small thing off' the diet. I won't get to do it on Saturday because I messed
up yesterday. (On Sunday-Monday I was not running @ 100%.)
Yes, I worked out for 30 minutes yesterday. I also took 2 snacks instead of 1 lunch. (I figured 2 snacks = calories for 1 meal.) Two banana-almond shakes guzzled at once did not agree with my body. PLUS, I later realized I am not supposed to substitute one meal for another: Breakfast is meant for breakfast, snack for snack, etc.
Within that downhill spiral, I made my daughter a cheese quesadilla. (one tortilla, with low-fat cheddar cheese, microwaved, melted, folded in half.---a delicious snack) Well, she didn't have it & I ate two of them. (An extra 300 calories.) -This is when I should have worked out.- In all, I probably ate 600 - 700 extra calories yesterday--- This included some delicious chocolate. (sigh now, but 'mmmmm' when I had it.) I also did something I said I wouldn't do again, which was eat before I fell asleep. It was healthy food, but I munched a bit before falling asleep. shame shame.
I also got home late from a client last night about 9:30pm & then subconsciously stayed up working on random things until 1am. Needless to say, I did not work out this morning and woke up with a jump when Katie was leaving for work. (Usually by then my blog is written and I have checked some email.)
I'm going to work out shortly & yes, I'm sticking to my diet today. I also feel pretty gross today... sluggish, etc.
I blame it on swerving off the diet yesterday, needing to work out, and having a lot on my plate (both literally and figuratively.)
Yes, this is harder than I thought --- but very seldom are large actions easier than they seem. It took me a long time to get here and there are many hard habits to break. (Mindless late night eating being one of them.)
MOST IMPORTANTLY: It's time to keep on moving forward. :-D
An extra workout might do me good today.

I'm getting back in the business owner game, so it's more important to be healthy/fit than I had previously read. I remember reading an article when I was just starting All For Dogs that said most business owners are overweight. This one says how important it is for business owners to be fit.
