Day 11 - Wow! I think my scale is wrong. Ice water weight, rising early, and body improvement

Weigh in: 235.

15 lbs in 11 days. Wow! I haven't mentioned it yet, but THIS is the workout I'm doing: Jillian Michael's Body Revolution. I feel great this morning.

The scale must be off. Did I lose 3 lbs in the last 2 days? I'm eating balanced meals, no processed sugars (except for 2 pieces of sugar free gum - thanks Martha Johnson who gave me some in a gift bag); working out 30 minutes @ 430am & spreading meals out throughout the day. Yesterday, I started an experiment in drinking ice water instead of slightly chilled/water @ room temperature.

Today: Increased weights to 15lbs wherever I could in the workout. This includes
superman poses, which I was particularly proud of.)
I'm going to see if I can do these soon - (hahahaha)

Soon enough.

Soon enough.

-----------------------

When i weighed 220-225 lbs, I wrote in my journal that if I ever got over 235, I would consider myself obese & it would enact a 'red alarm' for me to start working out.

In reality, 235 slowly became a 'I'm not fat if...' and I allowed myself to let go of watching my eating. When I hit 236, I wavered & said, 'well, I can drop down tomorrow because I lose/gain all the time.' (It's common for me to lose/gain 5-10 lbs in a day---though my weight has been much more stable during this workout.)

That 235 was not reached as often as I hit 240 & continued gaining weight. Right below 250, I realized that I can't just 'drop' 5-10lbs & hit my goal. As of today, I hit my 'red line' weight. I'm happy I made it back down, but it took almost 2 weeks to get here. 235 is big for me. I'm only 15 lbs UNDER the weight for many sports I love to do (skydiving weight max is 250, hang gliding weight max is 250, my kids bounce house weight is 250)

I'm going to see if I can hit my high school weight & strength. There was a time in HS I enjoyed working out & seeing what my body could do. I'd like to get back to that point.

(Yes, I'm switching up muscles & not doing the same ones everyday.)
