Weight: 242.8... (yes, .8 because I don't want to say I gained a pound.)
My weight went up a bit. I know I can fluctuate, but this is the first time during this workout that I gained anything. I suppose my body has adjusted or perhaps I didn't get enough water yesterday. (Though my 8 cups were had by noon.) I was really hoping I would hit my first plateau below 240.
I twisted my ankle yesterday during these crazy jumping jack moves... I was trying to get Clara, who is 3, engaged in the workout by bouncing around... Unfortunately, I didn't see the object on the floor which had been placed in my path & when I jumped on it, I collapsed. I thought I'd be fine & I walked it off, but after work last night it was pretty sore. I had to take a few moves easier this morning while working out, so I didn't quite work up the sweat I wanted. It should be fine tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to Saturday, my day off of workouts. :-D
This morning seemed the opportune time to do some extra work, so I did. Kids are up now and begging for food, books, games, water, fruit snacks, vitamins, & Word World. (all within the last 2 minutes)... time to go be with them.
It's all about my perspective.
Cheers,
Perhaps you should NOT check your weight every day? When I had a scale, I'd of course hop on it every day and if I'd gained a pound back, I'd be very depressed and think "what IS the use???" very melodramatic.
ReplyDeleteI don't even own a scale now. I use two methods to determine that I've gained weight. 1. My jeans no longer are comfy and I know my cookie fetish is out of control and 2. when I gain a pound or two quickly my FACE feels fatter instantly. and right now, i feel like I must look like a chipmunk. NOt only have i gained a pound or two, but i haven't played flute in nearly a year, so all those flute face muscles? they have nothing to do but saaaaaggggggg
